Strategic Advisor
* Full-Time (35hpw) Temporary up to 6 months (with the possibility of extension)
* Salary range $110,266 - $122,058 + super
* Sydney location with hybrid working
An exciting ongoing opportunity has arisen for a Strategic Advisor to join the Customer Success team responsible for the NSW Digital Strategy (NSWDS). The team sits in Digital Strategy, Investment and Assurance (DSIA), a rapidly growing part of Digital NSW within the Department of Customer Service.
The NSWDS was launched in October 2024 and outlines the strategic direction for NSW to advance government priorities through digital technology. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting delivery of the NSW Digital Strategy minor update.
Key responsibilities:
* Support delivery of the minor update by conducting research and analysis to clearly articulate key strategy messages.
* Support development of the NSW Digital Strategy Playbook, which captures and shares learnings from the NSWDS development process.
* Coordinate the NSW Digital Strategy Community of Practice (NSWDS CoP) events to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
* Maintain and update the NSWDS CoP SharePoint site, ensuring content is current and accessible to all members.
* Manage ongoing stakeholder engagement across agencies and departments, ensuring strong communication and alignment with sector objectives.
* Assist in preparing strategic plans, briefings, and reports to support key initiatives and decision-making processes.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
* Excellent organisational and project management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience coordinating events and stakeholder engagement.
* Experience managing business administrative tasks.
* Experience in gathering research and analysing data.
