Duties
As a project manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of construction projects, from design to completion. Your tasks will include developing requirements, producing tender documents, monitoring budgets and schedules, tracking work, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations, and resolving any issues that may arise during the execution of the work. You will also maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.

Essential qualifications
Your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the following qualifications:
EDUCATION:
College Diploma (DEC) in one of the following technical areas: Civil engineering, architecture, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, engineering technology, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience in project management within the field of construction.
Experience in problem-solving within civil engineering, architecture, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or any relevant field.
Experience as a technical expert in civil engineering, architecture, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge and abilities
KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations governing construction, including health and safety.
Knowledge of the theories, principles, and practices of the main discipline of the position.
ABILITIES:
Ability to manage financial resources.
Ability to manage projects in the targeted field.
Ability to create designs in the targeted field.
Conditions of employment
Reliability Status security clearance is required. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a National Defense driver’s licence (DND 404) and have a valid Class 5 driver’s licence issued by the Province of Quebec or equivalent. Candidates must also be willing to work overtime and travel outside the Headquarters Area.
