High visibility and immediate impact within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Role Overview:Working alongside the HR department, the HR Business Partner will be responsible for driving HR strategy across logistics operations. On a monthly basis, you'll review employee performance, engagement metrics, and provide insights to leadership on workforce planning. Weekly, you'll collaborate with department heads to address talent needs, resolve employee relations issues, and support ongoing recruitment efforts. Daily, you'll offer HR guidance and advice to line managers and employees across multiple logistics sites.In this fast-paced role, you will be the key HR contact for business units, influencing talent development and driving performance culture initiatives. You'll partner with leadership teams to implement effective HR solutions, ensuring a high-performing workforce while maintaining compliance with HR policies. Your ability to manage change and enhance employee engagement will be critical in driving business outcomes and shaping the future of logistics operations.Responsibilities:Manage the dispute process and provide resolution support.Draft and issue warning letters and discipline letters.Handle employee terminations in accordance with company policy.Prepare and issue change of shift letters.Administer grievance reporting and ensure proper documentation.Provide comprehensive HR administrative support, including daily HR tasks and reporting.Assist with bullying and harassment investigations, ensuring compliance with relevant policies.Coordinate with the safety team to manage drug and alcohol breaches.Manage relationships with senior stakeholders, providing timely and accurate HR advice and support.Partner with department managers to identify talent gaps and drive recruitment strategies.Advise managers on employee performance issues and assist with performance management plans.Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to drive business outcomes.Lead and support employee engagement initiatives, including surveys and feedback sessions.Work on workforce planning, ensuring staffing levels align with business needs and operational demands.Assist with onboarding and training programs for new employees.Monitor HR metrics and provide regular reports to senior leadership on key HR trends.Candidate Profile:You are an experienced and highly driven HR professional with 5-10 years of experience, ideally in a blue-collar or unionised environment. With a strong background in interpreting Enterprise Agreements (EAs), you bring expertise in managing union relationships and navigating complex industrial relations matters. You thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes environments and are comfortable being the key HR contact for both union and senior stakeholder matters.Your hands-on approach to HR tasks, such as dispute resolution, performance management, and compliance, combined with your experience in conducting bullying and harassment investigations, sets you apart. You are well-versed in supporting recruitment, employee engagement, and workforce planning initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Your exceptional communication skills enable you to build strong relationships with managers and employees at all levels, allowing you to influence decision-making and drive performance.
