The role
As a key player in our Accounts Payable team, you'll ensure the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions, including the completion and validation of payments through the Vendor Invoice Management System (VIM) for both Purchase Orders and Non-Purchase Orders, as well as staff claims. Collaborating closely with the Accounts Payable Team Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining our high standards of service delivery to the Department and Hospital & Health Services. Your responsibilities will also include responding to queries on accounts payable issues, providing exceptional service through effective communication with vendors and internal stakeholders via various mediums, including email.
The successful person
You will have demonstrated:
1. Experience in financial management systems and relevant software applications (e.g., databases, spreadsheets) for efficient data entry and retrieval.
2. Understanding with applicable legislation, policies, and procedures related to accounts payable, aligned with Department of Health and governmental directives.
3. Strong communication skills, adept problem-solving abilities, and effectiveness in team settings, with a proven track record in meeting deadlines and organizing work priorities.
4. Skill in cultivating and sustaining relationships with team members, vendors, and corporate stakeholders.
