About the Central Queensland Centre for Rural and Remote Health
The James Cook University Central Queensland Centre for Rural and Remote Health in Emerald is part of a national network of 16 University Departments of Rural Health, funded through the Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training program as a workforce initiative.
This newly established centre aims to enhance clinical placements by embedding students within practices, services, organizations, and communities, with a strong focus on engaging with Indigenous communities.
