Join our extraordinary team as the next Sea Logistics Operational Care Specialist in Kuehne+Nagel Australia!Your RoleYou will be enabling transport activities by executing bookings, entering orders, and generating all required export documentation while liaising with our Customer Care Specialists to ensure all requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner. As always, these activities are in line with all relevant governance and regulatory requirements.Your ResponsibilitiesWhat you will be responsible for:Coordinating and executing end-to-end Export FCL and LCL seafreight shipments.Processing shipments through our internal Order Management System.Working with a daily BPA management tool and meeting KPIs in line with our global business processes.Processing seafreight shipment details in our internal transport management system, coordinating with all involved stakeholders, and organizing transport based on the customer promise, obtaining DG approvals where required, and escalating discrepancies as necessary.Monitoring and reporting on operational performance of carriers and other vendors, ensuring strong data quality is available for timely and accurate customer reporting.Creating files for consolidation containers for FCX and internal consolidations (Master files).Reviewing and ensuring alignment of shipping instructions, clarifying any deviations/conflicts while considering country regulations, export compliance, rate, and routing information.Issuing and accurately submitting all export required documentation (issuing HBL specimen, carrier OBL instructions, VGM and security filings, sales invoices) within 24 hours of departure.Ensuring departure confirmations (or deviations vs scheduled) are shared with CCLs.Handling Original Bill of Ladings when needed and understanding the difference between when a Seaway Bill of Lading and Original Bill of Lading is to be issued.Ensuring cost awareness and efficiency through timely, accurate cost/revenue updates, including profit maximization by providing cost awareness to the CCLs.Checking and verifying incoming supplier invoices, including initiating and resolving any rate discrepancies.Ensuring operational excellence in line with good distribution practice (GxP) requirements.Supporting and resolving claims and disputes.Undertaking any other tasks required by management.Your Skills and ExperiencesWe look for potential, not only performance.
