The Role
Sitting in the Customer Service division, you will be responsible for:
1. Developing and maintaining productive and positive relationships with clients
2. Acting as the liaison between the Sales, Operations and Account Management team for the Customer in regard to their account queries providing regular updates in accordance with the companies SOP’s
3. Ensuring the smooth transition of a new client into the business
4. Communicating account needs to internal stakeholders
5. Shipment information
6. Order status/ updates
7. Grievances/complaints
8. Monitoring ongoing claims
9. Invoice queries
10. Billing queries
11. Adhoc Customer Service duties as directed
Experience Required
12. Freight forwarding or supply chain operations experience is a must
13. Understanding of quoting and tender documents is required
14. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, highly service orientated
15. Analytical and target focussed
16. Experience with working with regulations
