Using our Localised Electrochemical Modelling (LEM) technology, Syenta is developing a new method to fabricate high-resolution structures at high speed, with applications in advanced packaging, chiplets and high-end solar cells.The Role:This role will help further the development and optimization of the Achyon localised electrodeposition process, ensuring it delivers repeatable, reliable, and high quality results.
The ideal candidate will have a background in good laboratory practices, wet chemistry techniques, electrodeposition, and metrology techniques.Key Responsibilities:Conduct laboratory experiments with increasing independence under the guidance of supervisor.Analyse and present experimental data to the team, providing insights and seeking feedback.Implement and refine wafer etching, cleaning, and electrodeposition processes.Manage chemical inventory, including ordering, receiving, and tracking.Assist in the writing of standard operating procedures (SOP's).You Will:Implement wafer etching, cleaning, and electrodeposition procedures.Perform characterization techniques to determine process viability.Work with cross-functional team members including materials scientists, chemists, engineers to build to a fully integrated final product.About you:Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.1 year of laboratory experience (academic, internship, or industry)Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.Strong understanding of wet chemistry techniques and good laboratory practices.We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Assistant with a passion for technology and scientific exploration.
