The Sales Consultant for Growth by Design (GBD) and CUVM is responsible for driving revenue and growth objectives through marketing and selling these products and group offerings in the fields of Marketing and Vendor Management.
The Sales Consultant develops and executes a growth plan, orchestrates coordinated events, and serves as both a process expert and a sales and marketing consultant for new and existing clients.
The Sales Consultant actively identifies and recruits new clients and markets, utilizing lead generation and new sales techniques to achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals through effective networking.
Key responsibilities of the Sales Consultant include assisting customers in determining their needs, crafting solutions from GBD and CUVM products and services, presenting proposals, securing new and renewing existing contracts, and managing sales closure details.
The Sales Consultant stays informed on all GBD and CUVM services and industry information, maintains meticulous records, updates Salesforce with relevant credit union information, and provides regular status reports to management.
Additionally, the Sales Consultant assists in researching and resolving customer problems, culminating in recommendations based on thorough research and resolution.
Qualification: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a management-related business field preferred.Two to five years of proven experience in sales, with a track record of achieving goals.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Strong negotiation skills to successfully close deals and build long-term partnerships.Work Schedule: In the role of Sales Consultant, the standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional commitments during evenings and weekends.
Onsite presence in the office is required for a specified number of days, and moderate travel is expected.
Travel arrangements may involve both airline and car transportation; therefore, a valid driver's license is required.
