Flinders Private Hospital is seeking experienced Recovery / PACU Nurses to join our team. We perform a broad range of specialties including Orthopaedic, General, Neurosurgery, Urology, Plastics and Robotic surgery, Angiography and Endoscopy; offering you an exciting opportunity to branch out into different specialty areas.
You will join the Perioperative Nursing team and be responsible for the collaboration of safe and quality surgical patient care. We encourage a flexible and family friendly workplace. Flinders Private Hospital is a private not-for-profit 152 bed hospital which offers a range of specialties including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, ENT surgery, general medicine, general surgery, gynaecology, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, plastic & reconstructive surgery, oncology and urology. Flinders Private Hospital has 9 operating theatres, a procedure room, 3 angiography labs, an Infusion Suite, a 24/7 Cardiac Emergency Service and a 10 bed level 3 critical care unit.
Key Requirements:
1. Participation in a 7 day on call roster
2. Willingness to work across all departments including - Operating Theatres, Endoscopy and Angio/Lab
3. At least 2 years' previous experience as an Anaesthetic Nurse
4. Proven communication and interpersonal skills
5. Committed to ongoing professional development and learning
6. Knowledge of National and ACORN standard hospital policies
7. Unrestricted registration with AHPRA and able to work in Australia
8. Consideration to re-registration to AHPRA program
9. Candidates must hold Australian or NZ Citizenship or the capacity to permanently work in Australia. Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified for this position following suitable labour market testing.

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current Nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance (ACHA) & Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) South Australian Branch - Nurses' & Midwives - Enterprise Agreement - 2021-2024 ('Agreement' or 'Enterprise Agreement') (salaries range between - per hour).
