We currently have the need for a highly talented and experienced team player to join our supportive team as a Site Engineer. This permanent position will initially focus on one of our key station upgrade projects, followed by other major infrastructure projects in the Sydney region.
Requirements
About the role:
* Liaise with Project Engineers and Managers to ensure jobs are on schedule on site
* Monitoring key construction requirements to ensure they are achieved in line with specifications
* Implementation of prompt and safe corrective action on site if required
* Ensuring that the quality requirements of the client are adhered to and that project procedures are followed
* Maintaining all relevant project document control and records as well as assessment of risks and hazards involved in tasks, and methods to manage the hazards in order to prevent incidents, injury and damage
To be considered for this role you will possess the following:
* Minimum 6 months Post Graduate experience or Undergraduate experience
* ‘Hard Dollar’ contract experience
* Some experience in Civil construction, ideally with a focus on roadworks
* Some knowledge of project quality management
* Class C Drivers Licence
* Strong organisational skills in order to be able to manage time and plan effectively in a fast paced, diverse and ever-changing environment
* Exceptional communication skills as one of your key strengths with the ability to negotiate and influence others at a variety of levels of the business
* Ability to work well as part of a team as well as autonomously
