Education Manager (Mechanical Engineering) Overview: The Education Manager role is responsible for providing leadership and operational support to enhance educational excellence within the Mechanical Engineering department.

Key Responsibilities: Operations Management Oversee teacher performance, timetabling, resource allocation, and student progress.
Lead and manage teaching staff to ensure professional and vocational development.
Develop and implement strategies for student retention and improved learning outcomes.
Manage student needs, well-being, and feedback.
Ensure compliance with assessment validation and continuous improvement standards.
Teaching Materials and Resources Lead the design, development, and evaluation of innovative teaching materials.
Ensure curriculum meets student needs and industry standards.
Maintain up-to-date and high-quality resources in compliance with regulations.
Student Retention and Engagement Implement support strategies such as mentoring, study skills, and alternative assessment methods.
Address learner complaints to minimize dissatisfaction and risk.
Industry Engagement and Currency Collaborate with industry partners to ensure course relevance.
Develop educational solutions aligned with current market and industry needs.
Foster partnerships to enhance educational delivery and responsiveness.
Business Growth Contribute to business development activities and support fee-for-service goals.

Qualifications and Experience: Essential Qualifications Relevant vocational and teaching qualifications.
Adult Teaching qualification at AQF 6 level or higher Registration with professional bodies as required.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent.
Essential Skills and Experience Experience in developing and delivering educational programs that meet industry needs.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
