* Full-time role based in Balcatta
* Digital Engineering/BIM Management for major projects
* Key role in overseeing the digital engineering function and strategy
You will play a key role to:
* Develop, implement and manage a Digital Engineering strategy
* Oversee the Drafting & BIM team, reviewing and refining procedures and standards
* Work alongside our Spatial Integration Division to deliver integrated digital solutions to Duratec projects and clients
* Coordinate extraction and delivery of model information as required for design coordination, project management, project controls, cost consulting & stakeholder engagement
* Coordinate model federation, clash analysis, 4D time-lining & 5D costing outcomes on projects as required, in time
* Provide delivery support on multiple key projects, offering innovative solutions, with an emphasis on quality, timely service and budget constraint
* Develop strong internal and external client relationships to determine opportunities
* Work closely with the company HSEQ team to integrate Digital Engineering with company quality management system, including but not limited to document control, and records management.
* Work closely with Business Systems and ITC teams to integrate Digital Engineering and BIM software/hardware.
* Own the company Digital Engineering and Design Management procedures.
* Maintain an understanding for the state of the art in Digital Engineering and BIM.
* Develop and present business cases for any investment into new technology.
ABOUT YOU
As a strategic thinker in this space, you will have:
* Qualifications in Engineering, Construction, Architecture and/or extensive experience in Digital Engineering/BIM Management for major projects.
* Experience in developing Common Data Environments and delivery of DE Execution Plans
* Skills in project delivery planning, engaging and supporting users and managing drafts-people
* Strong technical experience in a range of 3D CAD and BIM software applications
* Capable of implementing a strategy from start to finish in a staged approach.
* Confidence and proficiency in engaging colleagues and clients (critical to your understanding of project requirements, pain points and guide your solutions).
