To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following: Qualified with a minimum Cert IV in Commercial Cookery Food Safety Hygiene qualification Key Responsibilities Include: Working in a busy venue with a highly skilled team Keeping a sharp attention to detail Ensure that food standards, preparation, presentation and cooking techniques are carried out according to established recipes and standards.
Utilise your creative expertise in cookery to produce high quality meals for customers.
Assist in the training of other chefs/apprentices/trainees to encourage excellent quality and production of menu items.
Monitor food quality and ensure policies and hygiene standards are maintained, reporting any deviations to the Head Chef Promote safe work practices in the kitchen Liaise with Sous Chef, Chef D'Partie, Executive Chef regarding workflow requirements.
Preferred skills and experience: Experience in a multi-faceted kitchen Familiarity with the Food Safety Act Time Management skills is a must Ability to work well under pressure APPLY NOW!!
