About the Role: The Tailored System Support Lead works in a high performing team that provides a quality, cohesive project management approach to support the establishment and implementation of tailored system support for identified schools. This support will be informed by the school principal, local education team, the school's data and local context using an inquiry approach to identify targeted supports. These supports will be aimed at creating capacity for practice leadership and the teaching and learning process and improve aspects of the site that can accelerate the teaching and learning experience. The Lead will actively build a collaborative and positive team culture and strategically develop high level collaborative relationships with school leadership, education directors and local education teams, and divisional leads across the department. They will facilitate the collaborative analysis of data, identification of strengths and barriers of each individual school and coordinate the provision of tailored-to-the-school, evidence-informed support, and resourcing. They will ensure this support has a clear focus on promoting empowered leadership, effective teaching, and supporting conditions for optimal learning to activate improvement for identified schools. The Lead will have a clear understanding of how school improvement processes improve student learning outcomes and have a demonstrated solution focused approach. Qualifications: Essential: An appropriate tertiary qualification in an education related field. Desirable: Post-graduate qualifications in an appropriate discipline or other relevant experience. Special Conditions: The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.
