Currently looking for a maintenance electrician, to join the team of 2 senior tradesmen and 1 apprentice, servicing a total of 8 large in house machines.

About the Role:
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.

Daily Duties:
7. Conduct installations, repairs, maintenance, testing, modification, commissioning and fault find on electrical plant, equipment, materials associated with electrical systems.
8. MP2 and Works Management
9. Concise communication between customers and colleagues to ensure the best outcome
10. Maintain a high level of service that meets customers expectations
11. Adhere to safety processes and procedures and reports when things are ‘not right’.
12. Openly communicates ways of improving safety
13. Quality Assurance
14. Adherence to all Quality & Environment policies and procedures.
15. Applies specialist and detailed technical expertise; uses technology to achieve work objectives.
About You:
16. 3-5 years of proven experience as an electrician
17. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician
18. Demonstrated ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints
19. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
20. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
21. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
