The successful candidate will have a proven track record in commercial management within the infrastructure or construction sectors, demonstrating expertise in negotiating and managing complex contracts. Key Responsibilities: Tender Management: Lead the preparation and submission of large-scale tenders, ensuring compliance with client requirements and strategic objectives. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop competitive bids that enhance their market position. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts with clients and subcontractors, ensuring favorable outcomes that align with their objectives and risk management frameworks. Project Delivery: Oversee the commercial aspects of project delivery, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Maintenance Contracts: Manage ongoing maintenance contracts, ensuring service delivery meets contractual obligations and client expectations while identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with contracts and project delivery, developing strategies to mitigate these risks while safeguarding their interests. About you: A legal qualification would be advantageous but not essential Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial management, with a focus on large-scale tenders, maintenance contracts, and project delivery in the construction or infrastructure sectors. Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation and management, with a solid understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks. Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive strategic decision-making.
