An exciting opportunity now exists to join this dynamic, fast growing National Retail Chain in the buying team. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, driven, and keen to learn more about Toys and buying with a head office located in the heart of Bondi Junction. If you have a passion for toys and love looking for the latest and greatest toys and collectibles from both Australia and overseas, then this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in administrative tasks
* Maintain accurate data integrity of SKUs
* Raise and maintain purchase orders
* Stock allocation
* Building relationships and regular communication with suppliers both locally and internationally
* Competitor and trend tracking – local and overseas
* Review sales and recommend action points to Buyer
* Coordination and reviews of catalogues, and other marketing / promotional programs
* Store communication
* Conduct regular store visits to ensure ranges are displayed to the best commercial effect and address any action points and feedback that arise
Skills and Experience:
* Preferably 1+ years’ experience in buying or a similar role
* Knowledge of Excel – vlookups, pivot tables etc.
* High attention to detail
* Excellent time management, organised, adaptable and must possess multi-tasking skills within a fast-paced environment
* Effective communication skills
