Who You Are You’re a meticulous and technically proficient Configuration Management Electrical Technician with expertise in maintaining and managing electrical systems documentation, configurations, and updates. Skilled in interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings, you excel at ensuring system integrity and compliance with established standards. Your ability to track changes, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with cross-functional teams ensures seamless project execution and system reliability. What You'll Do In the role of Configuration Management Electrical Technician, your duties will include: Defines, generates and reviews project requirements documentation. Performs technical studies to refine project requirements. Monitors projects to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained. Provides coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensures all necessary reviews and approvals are received. Supports Engineers in the design, development, modification, and improvement of products/processes. Activities include but are not limited to: Identifying and recommending improvements/preventive actions, inspecting, testing, maintaining, researching, repairing, and installing equipment and systems. Tests new and modified products, processes, and/or systems. May conduct performance/project analyses during phase-down to benefit future/other projects/missions/programs. Anticipates internal and or external business challenges and/or regulatory/ compliance issues; recommends process, product or service improvements. Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact. Contributes to the development of job family or strategy. Mentors and advises project teams to achieve milestones and objectives. Regarded as the technical expert in their particular discipline. Requires in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the job family. Other duties as required Requirements: Must be a US or Australian citizen Must have a minimum of a BA/BS, from an accredited institution, in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Controls).5 years technical drafting/design training from either a accredited technical school or military training and 4 years prior drafting experience. Requires broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education. Must hold and be able to maintain an Australian “A” Grade Electrical License, OR hold and be able to maintain a minimum US State Journeyman Electrical License Must Possess a Valid Driver’s license Must Possess an active US Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph or AUS PV Security Clearance. Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience with design reviews and O&M facility-related programs of similar size, scope, and complexity. Must have a minimum of five years of experience as a Senior Project Manager responsible for supervising project managers, engineers, and subcontractors. Must have demonstrated experience managing a multi-million dollar project portfolio and balancing resources while maintaining costs and schedules. Must have demonstrated experience working in a 24x7 operational environment requiring close coordination with mission operations. Must have demonstrated experience building recapitalization plans. Ability to work in fast paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills. Desired Requirement: PE License Clearance : Must Possess an active US Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph or AUS PV Security Clearance. This role will be located in Alice Springs, at a 4,400-acre facility with approximately 687,000 square feet of mission and support space. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.
