We are looking for an experienced Multi Combination Driver for our busy depot in Burnie.
The position carries a responsibility for all aspects of Road Transport Rules and Regulations which should be conducted in a competent, safe and law-abiding manner with due consideration to an efficient and service-oriented environment. Completing any local cartage job as delegated by the supervisor can also be required.
This role involves day/night shift work and works on a roster that includes weekends and public holidays.
Key Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Minimum Year 10 Secondary Education (Year 12 preferred)
* Class MC Vehicle License
* Forklift License
* MSIC (preferred but not essential)
* Proven delivery and freight experience
* Have a focus to always work safely
* Ability to work without direct supervision
* Physically fit and willing to do manual handling
* Numeracy and literacy Skills
* Strong customer service focus
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
* Full knowledge of federal and state road regulations including load restraint and fatigue management
