About the role: As the Medical Receptionist, you will provide exceptional customer service to the practice's patients, as well as proactive support to specialists. This position will enable you to manage patient appointments & queries, coordinate the administrative tasks of theatre, handle financial transactions, maintain the practice management system and provide administrative assistance. Additionally, your key responsibilities will include, however aren't limited to: Answering patient phone calls, emails & queriesScheduling appointments & coordinating surgery schedules, ensuring all perioperative details are handled Processing and holding deposits for surgeries & handling payments for consultations Generating letters for GP's & managing related communication Maintaining organised patient records Other relevant duties as required About you: The ideal candidate will have experience as a Receptionist within a medical environment. Prior experience working with and supporting medical specialists is advantageous. You will have experience using Genie Practice Management software and be a friendly and exceptional communicator – both written and verbal. The successful candidate will be organised and possess a keen eye for detail, in order to manage financial transactions, bookings and patient records accurately.
