Key Responsibilities
* Schedule and manage local, import, and export shipments, ensuring timely deliveries.
* Coordinate inbound booking processes with freight suppliers and warehouse teams.
* Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier invoices, and shipment data.
* Prepare and process shipping documentation (POs, invoices, packing lists).
* Track shipments and escalate delivery issues as needed.
* Manage outbound freight schedules and operations.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, service, and cost efficiency.
Requirements
* Experience: Proven background in logistics, shipping, or transport operations within a high volume environment.
* Knowledge: Familiarity with shipping processes, documentation, and supplier coordination.
* Skills: Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and customer service abilities.
* Systems skills: Strong Excel capability.
