Permanent Lead Veterinary Surgeon

Our client is looking for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to take the reins and join a vibrant small animal practice on the beautiful mid north coast of New South Wales, Australia.
The Practice

They have great clients - and we all know what a difference that can make! They do their best to allow time & opportunity for you to work up your cases, and the clients are generally happy to do so. They have all the usual toys, including in-house pathology, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy. In addition, they have a great team of visiting specialists with whom they work closely.
The Role
As the Lead Vet, you will work closely with a team of passionate vets and vet nurses in all areas of a general practice to deliver personalised, professional and dedicated care to patients and their owners. You will also be responsible for the management and supervision of the financial and clinical function of the business. You will have a dedicated practice manager to assist and a support office to support with human resources, marketing, finance and other functions.
Our Client's Ideal Candidate:
1. Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent qualification + current or eligibility for a NSW Veterinary Board Registration
2. Proven experience within a lead role will be highly regarded but not mandatory. We will also consider an experienced vet looking for the next step in their career with a passion for mentoring, supporting and coaching a team.

6. Responsible, organized, self-directed and hard-working
Salary: An excellent salary package from $181,500-$193,600 per annum depending on experience.
