The Clinical Nurse Educator provides support and clinical development/ training to staff while fostering a preceptor/mentor role. The role formulates, coordinates, and evaluates unit based educational programs; assessment and demonstration of clinical procedures. The aim of the position is to use a participation methodology to build: The capacity of individuals to deliver safe, evidenced based care, incorporating reflective practice with the aim of continual improvement. Ideal Candidate Has current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and relevant post registration experience in the specialty.
