About the Role The NFR Embedding role is a key role within Central Business Governance & Controls (BG&C), reporting to a member of the BG&C Leadership Team. This is a critical role with respect to embedding and optimising the execution of ANZ’s Non-Financial Risk Management Framework across the Global Institutional business. You will support the Global Institutional BG&C Leadership team to target the key embedding activities identified post the initial I.AM Amplified Program delivery of Risk Theme targeted releases. You will also support several key embedding activities, including, but not limited to, optimal control instance creation, monitoring design and appropriate coverage of key control objectives set by Risk Theme Officers. The Institutional Division provides world class solutions for Institutional clients across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Europe, and America, including Papua New Guinea and the Middle East. ANZ Institutional aims to be the best bank in the world for clients driven by regional trade and capital flows. The BG&C central team is responsible for a number of key governance and strategic activities including driving non-financial risk uplift in a 'one-way, same-way' approach; owner of a number of Divisional forums and committees; key regulatory reporting requirements; business continuity management; and supporting business-facing BG&C teams with data insights, tools and guidance to effectively perform role. Role Type: Can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane Role Location: Fixed Term Contract until 30/09/2025 What will your day look like? In this role you will: Assist the Central BG&C Lead’s execution of the agreed approach to embedding and prioritisation of NFR Risk Theme targeted releases. Develop and use centrally produced data analytics to drive a consistent approach to the embedding activity Globally. Ensure that respective BG&C Heads, Risk Owners and other key stakeholder groups remain informed of embedding progress and milestones through the presence of Group standard RMF materials. Ensure prompt escalation of deliveries at risk at all stages of the program to the Central BG&C Team and respective BU/Country Head of BG&C. What will you bring? Ability to work strategically, and both autonomously and collaboratively Ability to deliver under pressure Tertiary qualifications specifically related to Risk Themes Strong Data analytical skillset You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
