The Department Our maternity Unit is a 25 bed post/antenatal/gynecology ward with 5 birthing suite rooms, supporting this service is a 9 bed level 4 Special Care Nursery. Your duties will include: Monitoring Neonates and recording observations Daily care of babies in SCN Supporting and assisting with feeding of babies Supporting families with bonding during their stay Use of CPAP equipment Ability to work shift work Current Registered Nurse with AHPRA Minimum of 2 years Neonatal nursing level 4 nursery experience Demonstrated ability to work independently and unsupervised in the Special Care Nursery Commitment to Quality Patient Care Compliance with ACQSHC National standards Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Works well independently and within a team Intermediate computer skills Post graduate qualifications in Neonatal nursing (or working towards) Why Healthscope?
