This full-time role is essential in maintaining and servicing conveyor belt systems across various sites. As a Conveyor Technician, you'll be a key member of our operations team, contributing to high-quality service for our valued clients. Entry Level Conveyor Technicians: This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to start a career in the conveyor industry. You will receive practical on-the-job training, with the chance to work alongside our experienced technicians and gain industry-specific skills. You'll be involved in both workshop and on-site tasks, assisting with conveyor system servicing and maintenance. Experienced Conveyor Technicians: If you're already an experienced professional, this role offers you the chance to further develop your expertise and take on additional responsibility in a dynamic, growing business. You'll play a crucial role in the execution of tasks and ensuring the quality of work at various client sites. What You'll Be Doing Inspect, diagnose, and repair conveyor belt systems, including splicing, tensioning, and aligning belts Perform preventative maintenance on conveyor belt systems to minimise downtime and ensure optimal performance Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues related to conveyor belt operations Collaborate with the wider maintenance team to coordinate efficient and effective conveyor belt servicing Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and job tasks Requirements: Entry Level: Mechanical aptitude or previous experience in labouring or trades roles within the heavy industry is advantageous. Experienced: Cert 3 in Polymer Processing or working towards this qualification. Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety Valid Driver's Licence (manual preferred) HR licence is an advantage Ability to pass a Coal Board pre-employment medical, including a full functional assessment and drug & alcohol test.
