The National Operations Manager is a strategic leadership position within the Stockland Halcyon LLC business.
This role oversees the operational delivery of the homeowner lived experience in our LLC communities and drives key portfolio initiatives such as the LLC ESG strategy.
This parental leave cover can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, with the added benefit of flexible working arrangements to balance time between the head office, project offices and home.
The Opportunity As the National Operations Manager, you will be responsible for setting strategies to further optimise the financial performance of our stabilised portfolio from a net operating margin and asset valuation perspective, taking into consideration the commercial objectives of Stockland and its capital partners.
You will also work closely with Project Teams to provide input on the delivery of the development pipeline.
The Stockland Halcyon LLC business is in a rapid period of growth, with a number of communities reaching stabilisation.
The fast-growing Community Operations team is in a transformative phase, presenting an exciting opportunity for the National Operations Manager to lead and drive key process and people changes that will set up the operating platform for long term success.
Your tasks will include: • Lead and contribute to the Land Lease Communities (LLC) strategy, holding key decision-making responsibility • Overall responsibility for the performance of the stabilised portfolio, working collaboratively with all business functions • Develop Community Operations asset strategy, whilst leading a team to deliver sustainable year on year targets • Work closely with LLC peers to establish objectives and targets, aligned against the LLC forecast • Manage and maintain strong relationships with Capital Partners, including producing high quality reporting • Develop positive relationships with home owners to ensure best practice property and asset management • Ensure community facilities are maintained in accordance with the preventative and capital management plans to enhance long term asset values • Demonstrate accountability and ownership of risk and compliance outcomes in relation to the Community Operations function.
The ideal candidate will have: • Experience in the Property Industry, preferably in a listed REIT • Experience in managing large, complex businesses and high performing teams • Strong commercial and financial acumen • Demonstrated skills in developing and driving business strategy • Strong application of risk and governance frameworks • Experience in negotiating and presenting to senior stakeholders • Excellent leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
