About the role The VGSO is seeking a proactive, responsive and tech-savvy Applications and Data Analyst who will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of VGSO's practice management systems (Elite and Cosine). This role will serve as the key liaison with the Technology and Knowledge Management team in ensuring the practice management system operates effectively and efficiently for the whole of VGSO.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Data Analytics, this role requires strong communication skills and the ability to provide high-quality and responsive support, advice, training and technical expertise to all staff in relation to the day-to-day operations and administration of the practice management system.
Key responsibilities Handling day-to-day support queries in relation to the practice management system for users.Ensure a high level of data integrity within practice management systems.Promote use of the organisation's practice management system and investigate enhancements for improved accuracy and forecasting.Identify and propose continuous improvements to facilitate a greater degree of automation.Manage or support the implementation of additional systems and applications.Proactively liaising with colleagues to ensure service queries are resolved effectively.Liaising with IT in implementing any system changes or updates.Providing training and support to end-users.Responsible for maintaining and supporting the day-to-day operations of Cosine and Elite.Ensuring month-end and year-end close is actioned in a timely manner.Perform ad-hoc analysis and prepare advice for stakeholders.Skills and experience Tertiary qualification in IT.Qualifications in finance would be highly regarded.3 - 5 years business experience within a practice management system.Experience with a variety of organisation-wide systems and proven system development skills.Knowledge of financial processes, particularly in billing and accounts receivable.Relevant experience in a legal or professional services environment is highly regarded.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Technical reporting skills using Power BI and SQL would be advantageous.VGSO offers an inclusive, collegiate and collaborative work environment where you will be well-supported and mentored.
