Lead Systems Integration and Test EngineerL3Harris is seeking an experienced Lead Systems Integration and Test Engineer to assist with the delivery of the Airservices Australia (AsA) Enterprise Network Modernisation Program (ASA-ENMP). You will join a great team of talented professionals who take a collaborative approach and enjoy working together.The successful candidate will be directly supporting the Program Technical Lead by leading the System Integration and Test team to stand up and manage the overall Managed Services network services program for the ASA-ENMP program through development and initial deployment.The Lead Systems Integration and Test Engineer is responsible for leading the team by supporting or conducting test and verification of the overall system and management of the Integration and Test environments in accordance with associated plans, processes and procedures.This position requires an Airservices background check with duties to include:Management of the Production of System Level Test Plans, System Test Procedures and other required System test documents;Undertaking and supervising of System test activities;Planning and coordination of the lab resources to ensure the test environment is available for test development and execution;Ensuring that System test activities are carried out within the budgetary constraints of the project;Ensuring that all system test activities for projects are completed on schedule to enable project milestones to be met;Design and implementation of Automated Tests Frameworks, including implementation of automated tests;Lead formal internal and external Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and product end-item data package reviews;Leading a team of 5 to 10 I&T engineers and consulting across functional technical teams to include but not limited to Systems, Project, Quality, and Network Engineering;Coordinate the support contractor test activities throughout the subsystem testing;Management of test environments, including identifying requirements and adhering to formal configuration management practices;Be single point of contact for Chief System Engineer regarding all matters related to system integration and test activities.Qualifications:Bachelor of Computer Science, Communication Engineering or similar technical degree with a minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.Additional Skills & Experience:Experience in all phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) on large electronic system deployments. Experience working directly with Airservices or similar Governmental Air Traffic organization to develop, test and deploy a new automation or network service to the field;Experience in a multi-disciplined engineering environment;Experience with Voice Communications Systems, Radios, Telephony (VoIP, analog or digital);Experience working on large networked systems;Experience with Validation Test Bed management and sustainment;Experience managing work streams in Jira;Other less relevant but adjacent competencies such as programming/coding, electronics projects, ICT skills, hardware development, project management are also beneficial.Important to knowDue to the nature of our work many our roles require an Australian nationality and the ability to obtain a security clearance.
