Job Description About this opportunity As a Senior Manufacturing Finance Analyst you will provide leadership across your group of PACT site Operations, developing & driving best practice in cost and inventory management, controls and governance to drive an increase in shareholder value. You will provide the critical commercial link between Manufacturing / Operations and the various Finance functions, to ensure standard costs are rational and logical enabling our business stakeholders to make well-informed decisions based on accurate information - on the factory floor and with our customers. Building strong relationships and developing insights into operations is within your remit, including key factors such as product / services costing, stock-management, bills-of-materials (BOMs), labour, freight and production technology. You will also work with your key stakeholders to establish effective review and reporting cadences and ensure clear information / insights to support accountabilities and provide critical finance support. Demonstrating your analytical perspective, you will drive cost-effectiveness, extract efficiencies, optimize controls and manage risk with a strong focus on implementing best practice margin and cost management, while driving consistency of implementation across all parts of Pact. Your behavioral leadership is genuine and highly visible Support the Operations/Finance Managers in the delivery of planning, budgeting, and forecasting Undertake complex cost modeling to support equipment and site optimization (plant of best fit) analysis Lead the calculation and analysis of cost-related benefits to support proposals for major capital expenditure projects Coaching of Manufacturing Finance Analyst to drive capability across the team Best practice for product and services costing with a continuous improvement focus P&L and balance sheet management Your skills and experience Deep understanding and experience with manufacturing standard costing practices such as cost allocation methods and cost sensitivity analysis in an SAP environment Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities, draw insights, develop solutions, and deliver results Understand the implications business and accounting decisions have on one another Strong supervisory and leadership skills High level of analytical and problem-solving skills, leveraging analytical capability to influence business stakeholders to more effectively manage costs, risks, revenues, and profits Thorough financial understanding of P&L, accounting systems, and financial metrics Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels in technical or non-technical language, which can be easily understood.
