A prestigious 250-room, 5-star hotel is seeking an experienced IT Manager. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive technology support and management for hotel operations, ensuring optimal system performance, user experience, and technological efficiency.
Core Responsibilities
1. Systems and Infrastructure Management
Ensure timely delivery of day-to-day support for all IT systems, business systems, office systems, computer networks, and telephony systems.
2. Provide cross-functional IT helpdesk support across the SHR Group.
3. Maintain inventory of all IT-related assets, including hardware and software licenses.
4. Coordinate with vendors to optimize IT investments through quality user training and support.
5. Manage vendor relationships and review maintenance agreements to maintain service levels.
6. Support reporting manager and Finance in maintaining IT budget within approved limits.
7. Align IT initiatives with business needs, establishing project scope, technical strategy, and budget requirements.
Guest Experience and Operations
1. Collaborate with hotel GM and Operations team to meet guest service levels through IT infrastructure.
2. Advise on new hospitality technology trends to enhance guest experience and operations.
Policy Development and Implementation
1. Prepare and implement Preventive Maintenance Schedules for IT hardware and software.
2. Develop IT Department policies and procedures.
3. Maintain and test Disaster Recovery Plan annually.
4. Ensure implementation of IT Audit points as per Standard Operating Procedures.
Compliance and Security
1. Implement and monitor IT security processes to protect hotel's information and technology assets.
2. Participate in Workplace Health and Safety activities and risk assessments.
Professional Development and Innovation
1. Engage in training to enhance skills in critical hotel applications and IT infrastructure.
2. Stay updated on IT security and technology trends in the hospitality industry.
3. Execute other tasks or duties as assigned by management.
Requirement
1. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Hospitality industry.
2. Degree / Diploma in Information Technology, MCSA, CCNA or equivalent.
3. Good command of written and spoken English.
4. Technology savvy in and competent in these application systems - Oracle Opera, Synxis and OPI interfaces, Simphony POS, Delphi and Sun Accounting System.
5. Implemented integration of hospitality related systems like call accounting, CRM, IP-PBX, Vingcard etc.
6. Security administration and networking, especially MS AD, Sophos, HP / Aruba switches and Ruckus WiFi.
