The Opportunity
As the Regional Safety, Sustainability and Quality Manager, you will partner with the Regional Leadership Team to deliver the strategic approach for SSQ and develop a resilient culture across all functions. With your expertise, your main role is to identify and implement strategic opportunities, insights, trends and customer requirements in the SSQ space. You have excellent relationship building skills, connecting with operations to ensure SSQ practices are present and compliant.
Your strength lies in continuous improvement, ensuring our approach meets legislative standards, customer expectations and regional business requirements. Reporting to the SSQ Executive General Manager, the position is further supported by our talented team of people including Quality Business Partners, HSE Business Partners, P&C Business Partners and the senior leadership team. This role is based out of our Girraween office in Western Sydney.
You will bring:
* Demonstrated ability to lead SSQ change through influencing, coaching and collaborative relationships, maintaining a positive culture
* Minimum 5 years experience on a SSQ leadership role
* Substantial experience in at least one SSQ stream, with proven experience across all streams
* Relevant qualification in Safety, Environment, Sustainability or Quality or related field
* Experience working in an industrial business or construction industry
* ICAM lead investigator certification desirable
