Randstad are currently working with a Defence Client to find an Avionics, Software and Network Data Compliance Verification Engineer. This role is based at Gallipoli Barracks, Enoggera, QLD and is an initial 3 year contract with possibility of extension.
Role Overview: The Avionics, Software and Network Data Compliance Verification Engineer position provides support to ongoing engineering design activities requiring a Design Engineer, up to and including CVE certification, for the classification of design, certification program plan development, design development, review and compliance assurance for
the current and future avionics and software modifications to the fleet.
Key Duties:
1. Develop and peer review Avionics technical content.
2. System Safety Analysis.
3. Modification development and review.
4. Deviation development and review.
5. Development of Functional and Physical Configuration Audits.
6. Development of Acceptance Test and Evaluation Plans.
7. Draft and/or technically approve Publication Changes.
8. New Drawing Requests and Drawing Change Notices.
9. System tests, investigations and reports.
10. Technical support for tests and evaluations, and
11. Development, review and approval of support Logistics Processes (LPs).
Essential Requirements:
1. Appropriate Engineering qualification.
2. Experience levels for the discipline/qualification.
3. Software and Network integration and troubleshooting.
4. Compliance Verification Engineer qualification.
5. Aircraft Systems Knowledge.
6. DASR Part M,Part 21J and Military Type Certificate Holder Obligations courses.
7. NV1 Security Clearance.
Desirable Requirements:
Experience with:
1. Aircraft Health and Usage Monitoring Systems.
2. Aircraft Mission Planning Software.
3. CH-47F Chinook aircraft.
4. Software acceptance and certification.
5. AASB Engineering Management System (EMS).
6. Defence Aviation Safety Regulation (DASR).
7. Development of procedures documenting Engineering functions.
8. Project Task Management.
9. Acceptance test planning and conduct.
10. Adhoc system diagnostics / investigation.
11. Army Aviation System Branch (AASB) Standard Operating Procedures/Functional Guidance.
12. Emerald2 exposure and experience.
