Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Asset Management Specialist to join our Operations, Management & Facility Services (OMFS) team in Melbourne. This is a key role sustaining strong client relationships across Victoria and with internal water and cross-sector infrastructure teams.
Your Impact
You will play an integral part in delivering asset management, operations, and maintenance services to our water and cross-sector infrastructure clients in Victoria. This hands-on role will interface directly with key clients and involve travel to client sites across Victoria and throughout Australia as we support critical infrastructure projects nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
* Determine and implement optimal asset operations, maintenance planning, and scheduling for client projects.
* Conduct thorough assessments of asset condition and criticality, remaining life calculations, decay forecasts, and other relevant factors.
* Apply International Infrastructure Management Manual processes and practices to ensure compliance and best-in-class results.
* Implement, optimize, and maintain CMMS/Enterprise Asset Management Systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
* Lead asset reliability, availability, and maintainability improvement programs (RCM, RCA, FMECA) to minimize downtime and maximize performance.
* Develop comprehensive asset management and maintenance training competency frameworks to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
* Support the development of O&M mobility applications and maintenance initiatives to stay ahead of industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant technical field.
* Proven experience in asset operations and maintenance delivery.
* Expertise in maintenance planning and scheduling.
* Knowledge of asset management systems, frameworks, and practices.
* Background in reliability, root cause analysis, and asset life cycle programs.
* Strong client-facing abilities to nurture key relationships in Victoria.
