The Role
We are seeking a Certificate III Refrigeration and Air Conditioning HVAC Install Technician to join our busy and growing WA team.
Your duties will involve the installation and commissioning of various commercial and retail air-conditioning and refrigeration plant and equipment.
Good experience across the above-mentioned AC Installations work with minor ductwork installation experience, and strong communication skills are essential competencies required for this role. The most suitable candidate will possess the ability and willingness to undertake all aspects of AC systems installation and not limited to:
Relevant trade experience in VRV Systems installation and commissioning to a commercial standard Relevant trade experience in split systems and ducted split systems installation and commissioning to a commercial standard A current Arctic Refrigerant Handling Licence is also required Preferred but not essential
Relevant trade experience in AC units installation and commissioning to a commercial standard Relevant trade experience in ductwork installation to a commercial standard The successful candidate will possess the following:
A strong knowledge of all types of AC and refrigeration systems installation Knowledge of flexible/ small scale solid duct installation Ability to work unsupervised in a team environment Effective plans and schematic drawing interpretation Reliable, self-motivated, and well presented Clear verbal and written communication Able to liaise with clients on the condition of their plant (Cert III) Fully Licensed Refrigeration Mechanic (Cert II with relevant experience considered) Willing to undergo a police check and working with vulnerable people clearance Relevant tickets associated with working at height and using mechanical equipment Strong commitment to safe work practices is essential Benefits of Working with Airmaster
