Job Description:Reporting to and working back to back with the Metallurgy Superintendent, you will provide technical support and leadership to the Processing team, ensuring ore recovery is maximised at all stages of Processing. You will champion safe, efficient and cost-effective ore production, guiding the Metallurgy team and Process Operators to achieve optimal production and exceed targets.This role will be offered on a FIFO 8/6 Roster based at our King of the Hills Operation.Point of hire: PERTH, WAKey responsibilities will include; Coach and mentor Metallurgists to ensure production and metallurgical targets are metOversee the day-to-day technical results to ensure production targets are being metTrain and collaborate with the operations team to optimise equipment performanceEnsure budgeted outputs are met or exceededSeek out opportunities for continuous improvementTest, review and assess new technologiesOversee the laboratory's output and error rate, reporting variances and improving workflowsManage the implementation and roll out of improvement projectsEffective metallurgical data management and analysisCoordinate with Mining and Geology departments for impacts on plant performance of new ore sourcesDemonstrate safety leadership and accountability in the Plant.About you;You are a talented, highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is an innovative problem solver.
