Palmer Colonial & Gold Coast Golf Course is seeking an experienced Accounts professional to join our team.This role will assist our team of accounts with administration duties.The role is responsible for (including but not limited to)Banking administration including general cashiering and banking dutiesAssisting with Accounts Payable function including matching purchase orders and reconciling supplier statements in a timely mannerAccounts Receivable function including issuing invoices, daily payment allocation, timely credit collection, report weekly & monthly account receivableManaging stocktake & stock controlGeneral administration such as filing, electronic file management, answering the telephone professionally and dealing with the queries, assisting with email based account queriesThe successful candidate will process the following attributes:Must available to work on WeekendMinimum 6 months experience in a similar role with experience across accounts and office administrationExperience working with banking highly advantageousMust have strong Microsoft office skills including Word, Excel & Outlook with the ability to quickly learn in-house systems as well as fast and accurate data entry skillsHighly organised, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise, be pro-active yet stay calm whilst working in a busy environmentPositive and can-do attitude to take on any new duties which may include learning new and challenging tasks and where no task is too big or too smallStrong communication skills, be able to liaise between the finance department and operational staff, facilitating discussions and clarifying financial process and policesStrong attention to detail is fundamental to successfully fulfilling this roleFlexible to adapt to changing work requirementsDriver's licence and own transportIf this sounds like your ideal role please email your resume and covering letter to accounts@palmergolf.com.auJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From $60,000.00 per yearSchedule: Weekend availabilityEducation: Certificate I - IV (Preferred)Experience:Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)Administration: 1 year (Preferred)Licence/Certification: Driver Licence (Preferred)Work Authorisation: Australia (Preferred)Work Location: In person
