Enthusiastic and experienced Head Chef now being hired for our busy pub in Warragul, Victoria.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook dishes.
* Compliance with the hygiene practices of the restaurant.
* Presentation of food in an appealing manner.
* Keeping proper record of the inventory.
* Plate and check serving/portion size prior to serving.
* Approximating the quantities and costs of required supplies, such as food and ingredients required to complete the orders effectively and efficiently.
* Maintaining the equipment and work area to ensure that the kitchen is maintained at a specified level of hygiene.
* Handling the receipts for the purchases, repairs, and overall maintenance of the equipment used for daily kitchen activities.
* Smooth delivery of prepared food to the customers according to their orders.
The candidate should have at least 2 years of full-time experience and qualification which is at least equivalent to an Australian Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or similar.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
