Total Estimating Services is a small boutique construction cost estimating business based in Tennyson, Brisbane, servicing residential architects and builders who specialize in architectural residential housing works since 1991. We are looking for an experienced, dynamic Office Administrator to support our small team of in-house estimators and clients. This is a permanent part-time opportunity, working ideally Tuesday to Thursday with flexible hours – minimum 15-20 hours per week. For the right candidate, this position could lead to full-time employment with future in office training in Construction Estimating for the right applicant. Key Role Accountabilities • Preparation of fee proposals • Electronic file /project management• Sourcing building material and equipment costs • Accurate data entry • General office administrative duties About YouThis role will suit an experience administrator who has experience within the building industry. Your exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously within a small team will see you succeed. You will also demonstrate: • Demonstrated experience in interpreting and understanding complex residential building plans• Ability to confidently communicate with a range of external stakeholders including Architects, Builders and private owners• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Professional phone manner • Experience in Databuild and ConX Software or similar is an advantage For the right candidate, full training will be provided in Databuild and ConX software.
