About the role
As the Signal Maintenance Technician – Terang, you are integral to the success of V/Line’s Network Development, Assets & Maintenance Group.
The responsibility of the Signal Maintenance Technician position is to provide reactive and preventative maintenance of signalling equipment and systems from Winchelsea to Warrnambool.
4. Key Accountabilities include:
5. Maintain and install signalling and communications equipment.
6. Complete routine maintenance tasks in accordance with the technical maintenance plan (TMP) and servicing schedules.
7. Attend fault rectification tasks and investigate and report on incidents associated with the performance of signalling equipment and systems.
8. Work in conjunction with standardised signalling practices, procedures, and regulations.
9. Enter task completion reports to the maintenance management system.
10. There will be requirements to attend call outs, work away, travel and assist other regions, and overtime on an as-required basis.
