We are seeking an Administration Assistant on a casual basis to assist our team in Reception, Medical Records and General Administration.
Beechworth Health Service is a small regional health service, offering Aged Care, Acute Care, Primary Care. The Administration Assistant role will contribute to providing appropriate, timely and accurate administration tasks, along with courteous, friendly customer service to the community.

The Successful applicant will have the following attributes:
Experience in various administration software packages including Oracle, Unity, Riskman and Vital or similar.
Experience in medical records filing procedures.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to maintain business information in confidence.
Current valid driver's licence.
Key Responsibilities include:
Manage Allied Health appointments.
Manage the bookings of meeting rooms, vehicles and equipment.
Register new clients on VITAL and Unity software as appropriate.
Input of district nursing invoices and sundry invoices.
To be responsible for the receipting and banking of all monies received.
To issue and reimburse petty cash and reconcile same on at least a weekly basis.
To make up new medical records file for all new clients (Acute, Residential, Allied Health and Urgent Treatment Room).
To be responsible for the privacy and distribution of medical records to clinicians and district nurses.
To manage paperwork for the admission and discharge of Acute patients including retrieval of patients medical record.
To provide additional hours to the Administration and Medical records Role for leave relief.
Employment conditions and remuneration are as prescribed in the relevant award (dependent upon qualification) and current Enterprise Agreement.
