Healthcare Compliance and OHS Coordinator
You will oversee the company's compliance with healthcare regulations, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards, and ISO accreditation requirements.
This role supports strategic objectives by maintaining a safe and compliant work environment, managing ISO accreditation processes, and ensuring all regulatory requirements are met across the organisation.
This is a full-time position based in Hamilton, QLD. It plays a crucial role in supporting the organisation's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation requirements.
* Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
* Monitor regulatory changes and update processes accordingly.
* Conduct internal audits and provide compliance training to staff.
* Oversee OHS programs to maintain a safe work environment.
* Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies.
* Maintain OHS records and ensure legislative compliance.
* Provide ongoing OHS training and support to staff.
* Lead ISO accreditation processes and ensure alignment with ISO 9001 standards.
* Implement and monitor ISO-compliant systems and procedures.
* Coordinate internal audits and prepare for external audits.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field (preferred).
* Previous experience in safety and compliance coordination or a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience and understanding of Work Cover Management.
* Clinical knowledge within the Healthcare field.
