The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Legal Assistant to join our fast-paced team in Brisbane. In this role, you will work with leading insurance lawyers.
Duties
* Preparation of correspondence and legal documents in consultation with work authors;
* Broad range of client communication and management;
* General diary management, including arranging client appointments and other events;
* Collation and indexing of high volumes of documents for disclosure and briefs;
* Maintain electronic files in a timely and accurate manner from receipt of instruction to file closure;
* Monthly billing and debtor control; and
* General administrative support.
About You
This role will suit an enthusiastic and motivated candidate with:
* A minimum 5 years' experience in defendant insurance;
* Strong administrative skills;
* Exceptional attention to detail;
* Great organisational and time management skills;
* Ability to build strong internal relationships; and
* Strong communication skills.
