ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of the Clinic Director or Manager, the Physical Therapist provides various methods of Physical Therapy and supervision by physician orders.
Serves as a resource person for PT Assistants and PT Aides.QualificationsMINIMUM EDUCATIONBachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or Master's degree in Physical Therapy.MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCEPrevious experience in Physical Therapy preferred.REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONSEligible for or licensed by Texas Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners.
Basic Life Support certification required through the American Heart Association or other pre-approved accredited certification program.REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIESKnowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care.
Successful completion of department-specific and/or hospital-required training courses.
Must be able to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric.
