The Role: Join global leader in renewable energy as a Balance of Plant Design Electrical Engineer.
In this dynamic role, you will lead the electrical engineering of wind power generation plants, from medium-voltage systems to substations and grid compliance equipment.
Collaborating with Sales and Project teams, you'll apply your expertise to design, optimise, and implement electrical solutions for large-scale energy generation projects.
Occasional travel within Australia is required, making this an exciting opportunity for someone with strong technical and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities: Design and select primary and secondary electrical plant, including HV switchgear, transformers, and protection devices.
Perform protection, load flow, and fault studies using power systems analysis software.
Develop comprehensive project documentation, such as Scopes of Work, equipment specifications, and setting sheets.
Review and optimize electrical designs, including single-line diagrams and grid compliance studies.
Provide technical support during sales, installation, and commissioning phases.
