About the Role The Canteen Assistant plays a key role in supporting the canteen manager, working one day per week to ensure the smooth operation of the school's food service for students and staff.
This includes a range of responsibilities, from maintaining cleanliness of the canteen and equipment to assisting with cooking tasks using skills from a trades certificate.
You will be responsible for the security and basic maintenance of the canteen, as well as planning, scheduling, and supervising the preparation, cooking, and serving of food.
Additionally, you will interact with students and staff, assist in the day-to-day running of the canteen, and ensure all equipment is stored safely.
