ABOUT THE JOB
Join our vibrant HR team in Sydney as an HR Advisor and Health, Safety & Wellbeing Lead. In this permanent role, you will lead Health, Safety, and Wellbeing initiatives for the Country Business Unit in Australia and New Zealand.
Reporting into the HR Head – Talent, Learning and Reward, you will focus on collaborating with the HR team on business partnering, talent, learning, and reward to support and implement the HR project.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
* Develop and implement health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives and targets for Australia and New Zealand.
* Cascade global and zone health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives to the country business unit.
* Lead updates to the Executive Team and manage the Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Committee.
* Coordinate and lead monthly meetings, audits, and initiative delivery according to the roadmap.
* Manage and implement WISE-related learning and development initiatives, including eLearning campaigns.
* Advise management on workplace relations policies, staff performance, and disciplinary issues.
* Partner with HR to create impactful employee experiences across the employee lifecycle.
* Lead key milestones of the annual performance and talent cycle plans.
* Support the Reward Manager with recognition and benefits programs, policies, and compensation campaigns.
* Drive operational efficiencies in HR systems and processes, focusing on employee satisfaction.
* Interpret legislations, agreements, contracts, wage systems, and dispute procedures.
* Create enterprise agreements, productivity-based wage adjustments, workplace policies, and implementation procedures.
* Manage workplace committees and employee participation and engagement initiatives.
* The salary range for this role is 80,000 AUD to 90,000 AUD per year.
About You
You are a dynamic and energetic HR professional with a passion for people. Your prior experience in a fast-paced environment, coupled with your exceptional stakeholder engagement and influential skills, sets you apart. You thrive in collaborative settings, bringing a proactive and efficient communication style to the fore. Your ability to take ownership and act with speed, agility, and pragmatism ensures your success in this role.
Ideally, you will have:
* A tertiary qualification in Business/Management and/or Human Resources.
* Prior experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
* Exceptional interpersonal and presentation abilities.
* Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
* The ability to take initiative, prioritise tasks, and act with speed and agility.
