This hands-on Regional Sales Manager – NSW presents an outstanding opportunity for career development. Reporting to the General Manager, you will provide leadership and coaching to your team to drive sales performance and outcomes. Specifically this pivotal sales leadership role will facilitate and deliver on sales strategies, plans and programs to achieve annual revenue and profit growth targets in line with business goals. In driving a solutions-focused sales excellence business model, core accountabilities will include:
* To lead, develop, mentor and motivate the sales team to ensure capability to manage growth and operational challenges.
* Identify, develop and convert new sales opportunities with high potential customers in collaboration with the Business Development (BD) team and in line with strategic plans, financial objectives and budgets
* Provide management and leadership in liaising with customers on issues relating to product, delivery and price.
* Assist with the formulation of the strategic business plan for the Region and integrate this with the operational and capital expenditure functions of the business.
* Execute the strategic sales plan for the Region to drive revenue and profit growth in line with business goals.
* Assist in the preparation of sales and Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) budget for the region.
* Understanding clients, market trends and deliver value-added targeted solutions
It is critical you have outstanding influencing and communication skills across all stakeholder groups with the ability and desire to lead, coach and develop talent within a sales team. Throughout your career you will readily demonstrate active involvement in developing and mentoring sales teams that have led to the profitable growth of business segments. Your track record will demonstrate an ability to set sales and business development growth targets and build capability around people, systems and processes.
To be the successful candidate for this role your career will have extensive experience in sales management in the construction services, plant hire, leasing, industrial, or related industry with knowledge of Tier 1 and 2 building and infrastructure companies. An exposure to ‘industrial services’ or ‘hire’ business’ is desired however exposure to high transactional, logistically challenging environments is essential.
