About the Role:
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers and Domestic Assistants to support our clients in living independently at home.
* Assisting clients with activities of daily living, including domestic cleaning and personal care.
* Providing domestic assistance throughout the clients' home and meal preparation.
* Supporting community access and transportation to appointments.
Job Details:
In-Home Care based position
* Knox, Maroondah, Croydon and Ringwood area
* Casual position - Flexible start and finish times
* Paid travel time
About You:
* You must be Empathetic, respectful, and reliable?
* A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability, or first-year Bachelor of Nursing is required.
* First Aid and CPR training is completed.
* A Valid Victorian Driver's Licence, comprehensive car insurance and reliable transport is available to visit clients' homes.
* Availability of at least 3 days a week, during business hours Monday to Friday is required.
* Flexibility in availability to meet clients' needs is essential.
A Day in the Life:
As a Direct Care Worker with Domestic Cleaning Duties in home care, you'll play a vital role in helping individuals maintain their independence and quality of life. Working independently, your day-to-day tasks will vary, making each day unique and rewarding.
* Daily living, including assistance with meal preparation, personal hygiene and mobility.
* Hausdorff domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry.
* Transportation, which may be taking clients shopping or to an appointment.
